Notes: Recently, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) involved major public and private sector banks to develop the Digital Payment Intelligence Platform (DPIP) as a Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The Digital Payment Intelligence Platform (DPIP) is an initiative of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It aims to improve fraud risk management by allowing real-time sharing and collection of intelligence to stop fraudulent digital transactions. The Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) is building a prototype with 5–10 banks. DPIP will use advanced technologies to control payment-related frauds.

Notes: Recently, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR), under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, launched a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme. It aims to boost the financial independence of Panchayats by improving their ability to generate Own Source Revenue (OSR). The programme is being run under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) with support from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.

Notes: Recently, Candida tropicalis, a major fungal pathogen in India and globally, was found using chromosome changes to resist common antifungal drugs like fluconazole and voriconazole. Candida tropicalis is a yeast species from the Candida genus and causes serious infections with high mortality rates. It lives in tropical and subtropical marine environments like seawater, marine plants, and fish intestines. It is also found in human guts, fruit surfaces, soil, and various foods. It mainly affects people with weak immune systems or those with neutropenia, a condition of low neutrophil white blood cells.

Notes: Recently, the New Delhi Bench of the Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) ruled that revenue proceedings cannot continue once a discharge certificate is issued under the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution) Scheme, 2019 (SVLDRS). SVLDRS was a one-time amnesty scheme introduced in the Union Budget 2019 to resolve pending disputes related to Service Tax, Central Excise, and 26 other Indirect Tax laws that are now merged under the Goods and Services Tax (GST). It encouraged taxpayers to voluntarily declare and pay unpaid dues.

The Price Support Scheme (PSS) is part of the umbrella scheme PM-AASHA, which stands for Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan, launched in 2018. It is implemented by the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation for procuring oilseeds, pulses, and cotton at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) acts as the central nodal agency.
