Notes: Recently, India is developing the K-6 hypersonic Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) to strengthen strategic deterrence and naval power. It is being developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Advanced Naval Systems Laboratory in Hyderabad. The K-6 will be deployed on advanced S-5 class SSBNs (nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines) of the Indian Navy, larger than Arihant class.

Notes: Recently, ‘Adamya,’ the first Fast Patrol Vessel under the eight Fast Patrol Vessel Project at Goa Shipyard Limited, was inducted into the Indian Coast Guard in Goa. Adamya is the first of eight vessels being built by Goa Shipyard Limited under the prestigious eight Fast Patrol Vessel Project. It has Controllable Pitch Propellers and indigenously developed gearboxes for better maneuvering and flexibility at sea. Adamya shows India’s growing shipbuilding strength and supports the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision of self-reliant India.

Notes: Recently, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh laid the foundation stone for India’s first Green Data Centre in Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The project is worth around ₹1,000 crore and will have a 30 megawatt capacity with advanced energy-efficient and eco-friendly systems. The Green Data Centre will have a 30 megawatt capacity, energy-efficient design, renewable energy use, and eco-friendly systems like rainwater harvesting and smart cooling.
